RAC CrossFit Kids Winter Break Fitness Classes
Have your kids join us for a two-day, Winter break CrossFit class designed to get your child moving, learning and having fun with fitness!
- Kids ages 5 to 12
- Classes consist of functional bodyweight movement and active games
- Classes are 45 minutes

Benefits of CrossFit for children
CrossFit Kids is composed of elements designed not only for physical development but for an overall healthier lifestyle as well. CrossFit kids -
- provides children with a portion of their prescribed amount of exercise for the week
- improves muscular fitness
- discusses roles for food to develop a healthier lifestyle
- develops life skills such as perseverance and working hard
The goal of CrossFit Kids is to instill in this and future generations of children a positive association with exercise, a desire to be fit, and a goal to live a long healthy life.

Nichole Peterson: Head CrossFit Coach
After earning her B.S. in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati, Nichole always knew she wanted to help people live their best lives and began exploring her options. After working in the health insurance and medical fields, she quickly realized she would rather help individuals prevent disease than cure it.
Being a member of the CrossFit community for several years, she decided to combine her love of fitness with her passion to help others. Nichole now spends her time at RAC Crossfit where she is the Head Coach and Manager and is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer.

Makenzie Steiger: Instructor
Makenzie teaches English Language Learners (ELL) at an elementary school in the Gahanna Jefferson School District. She graduated with her B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Ohio State University and went on to earn her M.A. in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Ohio Dominican University. Makenzie has been a member of RAC CrossFit since its beginning and is an avid believer in the physical and mental benefits of CrossFit. During her summer break, she combines her passions for education and fitness by being part of the CrossFit Kids program.
