Resolute Cornhole League Rules:

Dimensions/ Distance

  • Boards are 24in x 48in
  • Spaced 27 ft apart from the front edge
  • Pitching boxes are 36in x 48in, and players should leave their box after each toss to ensure 6ft distance.

Bags

  • Bags are to be 6in x 6in, weighing approx. 1lb
  • The facility will provide bags to be used
  • If a player wants to bring their own bags, they must all be the same color for that team (e., you cannot bring one blue, one green, one yellow, and one red)

Scoring

  • One point is awarded to any bag on the board; 3 points are awarded to any bag that goes through the hole. (Bags hanging over the hole still only count as 1)
  • Any bag that is in contact with the ground is worth 0. Any bag that makes contact with the ground and then lands on the board is worth 0 and must be removed from the board.
  • Scoring is done by the "net" or "subtraction" method. If Team 1 has three bags on and one bag in the hole (6pts) and Team 2 puts three bags in the hole and misses 1 (9pts), then Team 2 is award 3 points.
  • The first team to score 21 wins. (No "bust" or win by two rules)

Games

  • Each week teams will compete in the best of three formats.
  • After each game players will report to the designated staff member their results.
  • The overall record will be recorded each week (2-1) or (2-0)
  • The best record at the end of the season wins a Pizza N Pitcher!
